The great January experiment ends today. Your support and engagement mean a lot to me, and you have my many thanks for joining the fun.
Posting Monday through Friday was challenging and gave me lots of lessons. Hopefully, you were inspired to get into the kitchen and make some tasty food. Here’s a quick recap.
THE TOP MOST POPULAR RECIPES WERE:
5. Shaking Beef
4. South African Whole Curried Chicken
3. Gluten-Free Dumplings for Chicken and Dumplings
2. Ethiopian Citrus and Avocado Salad
1. Red Lentil Hummus
Looking at the analytics, recipes that help you feel healthy or are über flavorful peak your interest. No particular day is more popular than the other, telling me it’s the recipe, not the day. Recipe complexity doesn’t seem to daunt you, but you also like ones that are quick and easy. After reviewing these, I am only a little wiser and now understand why people are paid big bucks to predict trends.
After gathering and reviewing January, posts, podcasts, etc., will land in your inbox once per week—probably Tuesdays—possibly more often if something interesting catches my attention. If you have cooking requests or questions you’d like answered, please drop me a line at SimmeringAway@gmail.com.
Thank you again for an enjoyable and flavorful January. Here’s to a tantalizingly delicious February 2024, a month with an extra day thrown in, giving us another day of good food. Onward!
~Janet
I, for one, have enjoyed your enthusiastic shares. I have not done all the recipes I want to yet, but I know where to find them when I do. That chicken - was the bomb! I'm looking forward to making the beef and the zingy salad (I was supposed to go grocery shopping today but it's raining and I just don't feel like lugging bags from the store to my car, yanno?
So, tonight, I shall make your potato pockets with the Pioneer Woman's tofu filling. Keep ya posted!
