There you are! And, wait... why am I not part of the Cookbook Club?
Most of those plates look scrumpdelicious to me.
That egg is mighty sexy.
What were you thinking? I cannot imagine celery "noodles" would be appealing ;-)
I have to ask you the deets for that beautiful loaf. As you know, I have tried my hand twice now with a loaf-style sourdough and they were both very good. The recipe I used required that it be KitchenAided with a dough hook for 8 minutes. The result of which (because I was not paying attention) my pin slowly made its way out of the machine and I am having trouble putting it back in. Sigh.
Oh my goodness! that sounds like real damage to your machine! I hope it's fixable for you. Let me drum up that buttermilk sourdough loaf recipe and I'll send it your way.
You are always invited to join us. Our next meeting is November 15th.. We're reviewing Michael Symon's FIX IT WITH FOOD. He has two and you can do both or either one.
No, I don't think it's overly damanged. It's a pin that goes through the top part and the base. It used to pop out a little and I'd bang it back in. This time I wasn't paying attention and... sigh.
Welcome back chef. So lovely to read this.
Love the fancy boiled egg. How fabulous. Your misguided celery pasta made me chuckle. Hoping the writers block has now lifted. 😊
Thank you, Shell. I have an arm's length of posts to catch up on too. I'll get there! Thank you so much for reading.
Keep fighting the good fight, Chef!
PS. You should have called me on the celery pasta! 😂
My road to hell is paved with many regrets. Not consulting you is surely among them. HA!

Where do people sign up for your club anyway?
I'll send you the link, Dale. That's how you sign up.
Oh, and I love Michael Symon. He has the most beautiful hands, too ;-)
I never knew!
I've watched him on various cooking shows... right up my alley, tell you what ;-)
Happy to see you back in the toque and writing again
